A man is suing an auto-parts store for assault and battery after he attempted to hold up the business and employees responded by beating him with a metal pipe.
The scary thing is that we should not assume he will lose his suit.

I suppose the tried and true saying: "Your rights end where mine begin" (and vice versa) didn't occur to this thug...
Maybe we should bring back the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" phrase instead.
store owner: "Yeah...after we wouldn't give him the money...he got so bummed he SHOT himself...FIVE times...IN THE BACK"!

Lawsuits like this should be thrown out IMMEDIATELY by the judge.
Also, we need to penalize BOTH the lawyers who bring these lawsuits and the person behind it.
The lawyer bringing the lawsuit AND the person bringing the lawsuit should have to split all of the Court costs. The taxpayers should not have to foot the bill.

The ambulance chaser should be disbarred.
The store employees should get a raise.
The robber should never have been allowed to leave the store alive. Once the tables were turned and they had his gun they should have just shot the little pr#ck and THEN called police.
