The bare essentials

Isn't the Internet wonderful for helping people build communities of common interests? I did a post a couple of days ago about young nudists cavorting in Vermont. It drew a comment from a woman in Oregon, who invited us all to enjoy the two legal nude beaches in that state. She also helpfully provided a link to the American Association for Nude Recreation Web site. I naturally had to go to the "family values" portion of the site, which had this quote, "You're likely to draw a bit closer together as a nudist family."

That made me think about my own family. Now, I love them each and every one dearly, and the memories of our time together are precious to me. But the thought of growing up watching them all parade around in the altogether . . . eeeuw! No offense, Larry, but I've seen all of you I want to see.

Hey, hey, hey, ... no reason to get nasty. But, I agree, I mean, geez, scare little kids, outrage old ladies, not to mention really confusing the wildlife out here.
