We sure have a tendancy to close the barn door after the horse has escaped. We stepped up airport security AFTER 9-11. We beefed up security in subways AFTER the London bombings. Too bad we can't think of these things BEFORE the terrorists do. They always seem to be one step ahead of us and seem to realize that they can't do the same thing twice. They come up with new targets every time; maybe it't time for us to start thinking more like they do and do more to protect future threats rather than past ones.
