Betting on the drunks

Nothing beats stupid like drunk and stupid:

INDIANAPOLIS — A Central Indiana senator has filed legislation that would require casinos to administer alcohol breath tests to gamblers who want to obtain a line of credit larger than $1,000.

Sen. Brent Waltz, R-Greenwood, said he was inspired to file Senate Bill 31 after a Corbin, Ky., man sued the Caesars Indiana casino in Harrison County. The suit says he was visibly drunk when the casino gave him several credit advances totaling $75,000, money he says he lost in a single night.

Remember, friends don't let friends bet drunk. I wonder how successful gambling enterprises would be if all alcohol were removed.

Thank You Senator Waltz. Not only have you reaffirmed my faith in the shear lunacy of the legislature, you have also made it possible for me to hang my head in shame once more for being a republican.

Honestly, can't these guys find something to do that is worthwile????????

These guys "could" go after (and close down) all the "pea-shake" houses in Indy that pay NO TAXES...that'd be a damn good start...that is IF they could get rid of the kickbacks for corruption in the process...
