Bye, bye Becky

This is big news:

Lt. Governor Becky Skillman today issued the following statement on a gubernatorial run in 2012.

"With much disappointment, I am announcing today that I will not be a candidate for Governor in 2012.  My end of year physical exam revealed minor health issues.  Nothing will interfere with my devotion to my duties as Lt. Governor, and I plan to continue the same pace as always.  However, it is best to continue without the additional stress of a gubernatorial campaign.

This will just intensify the speculation about whether Mike Pence plans to run for governor or take on the White House.

Um, taking a chance that i will not be called sexist, Becky Skillman just doesn't have the skill . . . man, to be governor. If Pence wants to run for governor, he will be the nominee.

However, I would prefer that he run against Barry and Kerry's friend in the 2012 US Senate primary. That would shut down the "too many TEA Party candidates" mantra being put out there by the left and by Lugar's camp.
