California dreamin'

It is comforting, isn't it, to know that the man who took control of California's crisis and turned it into an absolute catastrophe is "fully behind" President Obama's health care reform efforts:

SCHWARZENEGGER: I'm leaning towards reforming health care in America. And I think the whole idea of having everyone insured is a great idea. And I think it's also important to put a lot of emphasis on cost controls because we got to bring the costs down. I think that he's right on the mark on that one.

Well, show the president all your wonderful ideas for bringing down costs, Arnold. If we run America on the California model, we'll all be just swell. And, while you're at it, explain how "everyone's covered," even for pre-existing conditions, fits any rational definition of "insurance."
