The dangerous Evan Bayh

Right Wing News, a blog that, as you might expect, worries about Republicans losing the White House, rates the 10 most dangerous Democrats, based on their electability. Evan Bayh comes in third, behind Mark Warner and Bill Richardson, just ahead of Hillary Clinton and Al Gore and way ahead of John Kerry and John Edwards. But the assessment is based on the belief that Bayh is a "moderate senator," so take it for what it's worth. If you read the critiques by the groups that rate senators based on their votes, both the conservative and liberal groups, Bayh's voting record is solidly liberal.

Bayh is certainly a moderate within the democratic party; just out of curiousity, who would be classified as a moderate if Bayh is not? Lieberman? Many in the party call him a republican...

I certainly consider Bayh to be a moderate Democrat as well...

I do think that his voting record is not as moderate as his campaign platform; but, I think he is a moderate...

I just wish Bayh would "get off the fence" and tell everyone where he stands... He often just sits on that famous fence...

To me Lieberman is the best definition of a Moderate Democrat. Bayh is not too far behind him.
