The funny part is, those who believe in the science of UFOs are no doubt insulted that crackpots want to taint their subject matter with the Abominable Snowman, and people who are serious about Bigfoot are likely outraged that somebody is trying to discredit their studies by claiming UFOs are involved.
The Loch Ness researchers have no reason to be upset... yet.
