The family plan

And they say family togetherness is dead:

Lebanon -- Three adults face possible charges in Boone County after police found them with a drunken teenager. Two of those arrested were the boy's mother and grandmother.

Officers were called Saturday to an apartment complex in Lebanon, where they found the 15-year-old "visibly intoxicated," according to Lebanon Police Lt. Brent Wheat.

The boy's mother, Carolyn McAninch, 41, also was intoxicated, police said.

[. . .]

Police also arrested McAninch's boyfriend, John Westfall, 45, and the teen's grandmother, Margaret Cornett, 78.

 [. . .]

The boy tested at twice the alcohol level at which a motorist is considered intoxicated, according to police.

Hey, at least they were supervising his drinking, just like they do in France. Just a little red wine with dinner, you know, and the boyfriend starts showing off and things get out of hand. These things happen.

Leo:
That surprises me about LEBANON, PA...that's AMISH country.
And even the Mennonites around there aren't THAT much "in touch" with such frivolity.

The times they ARE a'changin', hmm?
