Local news outlets this week have been carrying the story about the 21-year-old arrested for her third DWI in about a year, the last time while she was eight months pregnant. I almost did a post on her as an example of somebody who just isn't taking the hint. But she's young enough to turn her life around if she chooses to, or at least not turn into this guy:

A man with 17 drunk driving convictions remains out on bail, despite a prosecutor's request to keep him in jail.

Judge Thomas Webber on Tuesday allowed Kendall Smith, 63, to remain out on the $1,000 cash bond he posted in January.

Seventeen convictions and still going strong. Is there anything to do with this guy but put him behind bars until he dies? Any objections?
