Politicians are just different. Most of us cringe at the idea of constantly calling attention to ourselves. They thrive on always being in the spotlight. To be fair, Schellinger's ride isn't as ostentatious as Gov. Daniels' campaign RV, but still . . . How would you like to be a kid who had to be dropped off at school every day in this thing?

I think it is a smart use of campaign money when you are travelling the state.
On the other hand, how about being so embarrassed by our STATE that as Governor you refuse to live in the Governor's mansion- as a matter of fact, having an address that appears to violate state law??
Sure beats the hell out of that MONOPOLY-logoed Grand Cherokee that was booming through our neighborhood LAST year.
And I won't even get into the MIKE N IKE or PEPSI one...
