Anyone go to the season ticket holder open house? How'd it go?

Yo, VIP, let's kick it!

Alright, stop, collaborate, and listen;
Ice is back with my brand new invention.
Something grabs a hold of me tightly,
Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly.
Will it ever stop? Yo, I don't know.
Turn off the lights, and I'll glow.
To the extreme I rock the mic like a vandal,
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle!

OK, that's more than enough. I guarantee the live performance is much better. Last night, as I was watching Detroit lose :) :) to a team that is owned by the NHL, I saw how Phoenix lights up the goal with a spotlight after each home goal. I wonder if this is something we could do in the Jungle? It's a pretty simple concept, but is also pretty cool IMO.

Its been well documented that the Disney shenanigan was Boucher. And for what its worth, I find it to be rather funny.

I've got more rhymes to spit. Is it Hammer Time??

FW-Haven't you embarassed yourself enough? I think I am to old to appreciate punk rap or whatever it is called. I don't mean to offend just typing my opinion. Spitting might just be the correct name for it.

Dschebig: Maybe you could sing us some of the music from the 20s when you were younger, or you could dance the Charleston on Wendy's show the next time you're on there?? Instead of dressing as a pirate, she could be your flapper! :)

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question. Like I said, there is no right or wrong answer. It was fun to think about the combinations and players.

Along the way the conversation kind of morphed into which line Hodgman should join. I thought I would express my opinion on this and back it up with some reasoning.

First of all I would leave the Thomas, Drouin, O'Connor line alone. They are playing well together ( 33, 26, 23 goals respectively). I wouldn't mess with this line at all. Saying that, here is what I would do. I would move Schrock up on the Chaulk line (taking the place of Shaf). I would then place Hodgman with Chewy and Hukalo. I would have Hodgman center this line and move Chewy to the wing (that is his natural position). The one thing the K's have missed since Varone was let go was a natural centerman. Hodgman fills this role perfectly and gives the K's three terrific centers ( Chaulk, Thomas, and Hodgman).

Schrock would have no problem moving to Chaulk's line. He has some experience with Chaulk and would give the line a lot more speed. I'm thinking the extra quickness and grit may provide Syro with a little extra room.

Hodgman is a playmaker and paired with Hukalo (helluva defensive forward who has a knack for getting big goals), and paired with Chewy (quick, great hands player who hustles like no other), I could see this line becoming pretty awesome.

So there are my three lines up front:
Chaulk, Syro, Schrock
Thomas, Drouin, O'Connor
Hodgman, Chewy, Hukalo,

MacMillan, Woods to fill in as needed.

It's just my opinion, but I don't see how any one team could defend all three lines.

OK, that's what I think. Can anyone give me better line combos and the reasons why they think so?

Alan, on another thread I had basically the same lines; but had MacMillan and Warner as the extra forwards. Woods is too unpredictable for the playoffs and Warner can fill in if need be should a d-man go down or is lost to a lengthy penalty...

FW, DS, keep it up and I'm going to make you two tango -- together. Don't think I can't do it!

I nominate FW's "Charleston" "Pirate" "Flapper" post as funniest of the year.... The 20's....

Instant Classic....

FW- I guess you think I am a lot older than I am. Yes I do enjoy singing. I prefer Gospel or Barbershop. When is comes to dancing I am screwed! Be kind Blake! I am not offended. I sure am not mad. I have adopted the approach that nothing is on this blog is personal. It is the only way to survive!

You all are welcome.

If you play Musky's #1 line with a physical defensive group that is also quick and able to get into transition, you destroy them. That is the key with the Limber Jerks. You have to have Schrocky glued to Rockin Robin and let him know every minute he is on the ice, he will pay a price.....then you beat him to the other end of the arena and light his line up. That line can't play defense, and they don't like to take any hits.

Port Urine, well, I am not sure....they don't have just one line to match-up against, but I don't think they can match-up with any of our three lines.

At least Haun has a legit reason for his head issues... Does Lawrence?

It looks as if Go Hawks Go, as does Larry, has a bit of stick envy... Goaltender's stick, of course (some of you people have dirty minds!)

Maybe SG will have some sort of special that night to attract Larry there so he can hide behind the pole.......Bring your friend Larry Night and get in free???

The bus would just drop him off there. He wouldn't have to walk across the road to get there. I have heard he is famous there.
