Here, kitty, kitty

This wuss makes Jimmy Carter seem absolutely macho for surviving the killer rabbit attack:

A Speedway man was recovering this morning from a kitten bite to his thumb.

Craig Wyatt, 24, called police Thursday afternoon after a kitten in a woodpile nipped him on the right thumb, according to a Speedway police report.

Wyatt said the feline bit him when he tried to tie a string around its neck. When police arrived the kitty was tied to a tree.

Officer Chris Helmer described the cat in a report as “very calm and nonaggressive unless it was provoked.”

Man, they must have some vicious kitties in Speedway. Rabid, Pit Bull, Big Foot kitties. They'd better take this guy into protective custody before they untie the kitty from the tree.

This is one weird story.

I often see Carter hatred here, and I don't get it. Can you explain it to me? Is it just a personality thing - he came across as Mr. Rogers?
He was no sissy. He was a nuclear (something Dubya quite literally couldn't say) engineer aboard a submarine. His raid on Iran failed, but he relied on his military advisers. It was a helicopter raid, not a submarine raid.
He put solar panels on the White House. Reagan had them removed in a sort of F-you to the environment. I don't particularly like Carter, mostly because he wears his religion on his sleeve. But I don't hate him. What's up?

LittleJohn, What's up you ask? Were you in a coma during his presidency? He was a lousy President and yes, he was a sissy too.

As for the "nukular" pronunciation, please see:

"UsageU.S. presidents who have used this pronunciation include Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton,[5] Dwight D. Eisenhower, and George W. Bush. Others who have used this pronunciation include Vice Presidents Walter Mondale and Dick Cheney, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin,[5][6][7] and Star Trek actor DeForest Kelley.[8]"

The solar panels on the white house offered a nice visual for the public but they were ineffective. They didn't work, and Reagan tossed them. I installed solar panels (4x8x4) on the homes I was building too back then, they were worthless also.

He brought us the Dept Of Energy and the Dept of Education, both of which should be abolished and should earn him (Carter) permanent expulsion from the country (imo).
He brought us the Community Reinvestment Act, the very beginning of of our most recent housing crash...

Look, the list goes on and on, he was an awful leader, and as it turns out he's still an awful person as well, especially if you're jewish...He's an embarrasment to this country today, just as he was while in office.

Those of us that follow IndyCar Open-Wheel racing can testify as to the "angry-cat-like" comments that are made by the females that drive in the 500 Mile Race - They sound more like tomcats (in their choice of "%#@&@!" words) on their radios - So what would you expect from Speedway Kitties?

So what if other people can't pronounce nuclear correctly? That doesn't make Bush correct. It just means there's other people who can't pronounce it.

And really, he was a sissy? Citation, please. Or is that just name-calling from the safety of the Internet?

"And really, he was a sissy? Citation, please. Or is that just name-calling from the safety of the Internet?"

It's a personal opinion, and I'd say it to his face. He's an awful human being. As for a citation click on Leo's link and watch the vid.

Littlejohn has a habit of using that nuclear/nukular pronunciation as a way to imply those unable to say it the way he does (like GWB) are stupid. It's his way of hanging on to the past I guess, so whenever he tosses that canard out I remind him who else is unable to say it "correctly", in this case it's the subject of the post, Jimmah. He thinks he's cute doing that, but he's actually smart enough to know accents, dialects, and euphemisms aren't a measure of ones intelligence, but he persists just to needle me, which is fine.
I liken it to Obama's inability to pronounce corpsman, is he an idiot too then?

The nuclear/nukular thing is Littlejohns way of implying GWB was an idiot, I always like to point out to him there are other Presidents (Democrats, yikes!) that pronounce it the same way. Littlejohn knows that dialect, accent and euphemisms are no judge of intelligence but it makes him feel good to be petty (as is the case with most all democrats) so let him have his fun. Of course if he really felt improper pronunciation was indicative of inferior intelligence, he'd have to admit to, and apply it to Obama's "corpsman" pronunciation now wouldn't he?

As for Jimmah being a sissy, you want a citation? Try googling "Irananian Hostage Crisis" for starters. He is a sissy and an awful human being and I would tell straight to his face, no internet anonymity necessary.

He disgraced this nation in his capacity as President, and continues to do so today. The only thing that will save him from being labeled the worst president in the history of the nation is the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Jimmah will settle in to spot #2 on that list.

tim zank: "he only thing that will save him from being labeled the worst president in the history of the nation is the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave."

Nixon, who resigned in disgrace, was worse.
Clinton, who was impeached, was worse.
Hoover, who gave us the depression, was worse.
Wilson, who was a wimp, was worse.
LBJ, who started the wars on Poverty and Vietnam, was worse.
Grant, whose administration was the most corrupt in history, was worse.

Most historians rank James Buchanan, the country's only openly gay president, as worst. He was from Lancaster, PA, and many folks here are very proud of his dead-last ranking.

Carter wasn't a particularly good president. As an outsider, the beltway crowd held his scrotum hostage. But even though he was a fairly poor president, most other presidents have been fairly poor as well.

I find it amusing that someone posting anonymously claims they would say something to someone's face.

And yeah, I think Delos there has the appropriate historical smackdown there.

Michael, the anonymous post was mine, I hadn't typed my info back in after a re-boot..and the post had not appeared for a time so I reposted essentially the same thoughts right below it. I would tell Carter to his face.

As for the historical smackdown, those examples are simply Harls' opinion, and as we all know, opinions are like equine sphincters in that every horse's rear end has one.
