How cowards find peace

Yeah, sure wouldn't want a toublemaking bully like him at any of my peace conferences:

JOHANNESBURG — South Africa has barred the Dalai Lama, Tibet's spiritual leader and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, from attending a peace conference here this week that was supposed to promote the 2010 World Cup and the potential of sport to unite people across races and nations.

[. . .]

Critics of the decision, including Desmond Tutu, the retired Anglican archbishop of Cape Town who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984, said South Africa had caved in to China, which has aggressively sought to extend its influence across Africa in recent years. Prime Minister Wen Jiabao of China said at a news conference this month that foreign countries should stay away from any involvement in the Tibet issue.

The Chinese have sent thousands of troops into the Tibetan region to keep the vicious rabble there in check, so maybe this will soon be resolved. And just think how much better off we'll all be when China replaces the United States as the world's sole super power.

No, the dollar will be really cheap and Kung Pao chicken will rule the economy. And I doubt it will be actual chicken.

PS: Why are the French, for crying out loud, the only one's who raised a middle finger when the the Chinese government tried to get them to disinvite the Dalai Lama?
