The highlights of this bill, allegedly crafted to save us from the Wall Street crisis but is obviously being used to fund every hail Mary liberal, entitlement cause under the sun, includes:

She then included a partial list of the monstrosities, including such expenditures $2.4 billion for carbon capture demonstration programs, $87 billion for a "temporary" increase in Medicaid funding and $6 billion to weatherize "modest income homes." What, exactly, is it we're stimulating? My colleague Bob Caylor has taken it upon himself to read every one of the hundreds of pages and report back after he's talked them over with Rep. Mark Souder. Better him than me.
