Kentucky chic

I've always known that the state of my birth is more with it than most people realize, but, dang, it is really out there:

Few city employees knew about the new dress code passed by the Danville City Commission Monday. Several were asked to talk about it publicly, but they refused, fearing they would get in trouble with their supervisors.

The code says employees can wear no more than three rings. Conservative hairstyles are a must. Dresses above the knee are a no-no, and tattoos must be kept undercover. Women can have two earrings, but men only one.

City Manager Darrell Blenniss said although there were no major problems, the new code came about because some employees were "on the edge" of appropriateness.

Sounds to me like they need more work to do. There seem to be a lot of little ways, (not to mention the larger ways) that this country has become repressive over the last 2 decades.
