Tuesday at 7 p.m. Komets Public Address Announcer Larry Schmitt will answer questions about the upcoming season as far as musical selections. He said he has approximately 40 new songs to play this season.
Please, let's not make the first 50 questions about the Hey, Hey song. We already know the answer to that one so why waste the time and typing.
``We're going to have something new and very cool,'' Larry said. ``It won't be Ole, Ole, either. That's all I can say right now. You'll find out opening night.''
Or maybe Tuesday if we bribe him enough.

Hoss,I have been attending Komet games for the last 27 years. Yes, I was disappointed when the bell did not ring! Yes, I like the "You Suck" song, & yes I yelled he Shoots he scores. It was not MY IDEA to make to the music changes... It was the soccer moms, Frankes, whoever. Yes I allowed my children to do all the 3 things mentioned above. I never said I wanted the music to change. If they continued the 3 things above would we do the Chant, yes. No body likes change. I never said it was annoying, nor was it my idea. Just trying to deal with the change like everyone else.

Or "Way to go Chukalo." That one will be hard to not say when he is gone too.

Just like I said the other night, we didn't tip our hat as to what we are going to play this year. That's why you didn't hear any goal scoring gongs or any song in particular when we scored the other night. Opening night will be a blast and get your questions together for Tuesday. And once and for all...Rock N Roll Part 2 will not be the goal scoring song this year. So that question is already answered for ya. Whether it has a place somewhere else in the game is yet to be discussed.

Guinn and Puhalski have been gone for months and it's pretty obvious by the number of times still being mentioned that Hit and Chuckitt must miss them the most! ha!
In all seriousness, I kind of wish that I could see how Guinn would play under a coach like Bingham. I think many would be suprised. Not that I'd want to change the roster from what we have now in order to fit Guinn back in.... Someone else who would really excell under Bingham I think would have been Luciuk. He'd have career high points I'd imagine with this team.

doesnot matter who the coach is, a player who publicly says hes too old to fight and skates the other way in times of trouble will never change. a coach like bingham would just not put up with like the chief did and just cut his but quicker than he could forget more about being cut than us!

I'll try this one more time. Exhibition games are part of the Komets' season tickets. Ticketmaster can not differentiate between regular-season and exhibition prices on season tickets, so you can't have two different prices. If the Komets were going to give any discounts, they'd give them to the season ticket holders first. Since they can not, there are no discounts in general.

I'm sorry if you thought I was implying Scott was a liar, I just wanted to know how K-Zoo can offer $5 on ticketmaster when that was our problem with them. I know Scott is a stand up guy.
the solution is simple! dont include the exibition games in with the season tickets. that way tickets can be priced at any price they want. its only been a few years that the ex games were part of the season package.
you gotta remember we are dealing with upper management....so the obvious solution will never happen
