Opening Arguments

A little belt-tightening

Finally,  a state that's more stubborn than Indiana:

New Hampshire lawmakers are voting on a bill that would require all adults to wear seat belts and fine those who don't, but not everyone's happy about that.

Live Free Or Wear Seat Belts?

In the state with the motto "live free or die" some want to continue doing just that. "They already tell me I can't smoke, now they tell me I have to wear my seat belt if I don't want to?" said New Hampshire driver Bernadette Smith.

New Hampshire is the last state left without mandatory seat belt laws. Georgia, like most states with a budget crisis, is now contemplating what Indiana did a couple of years ago, namely getting rid of the loophole for pickup trucks to free up the federal grants that are being withheld as punishment.

Now, about those motorcycle helmets . . .

Just kidding, really!

NH is even "thinking" about having that secession "clause" in their state constitution revisited...
How 'bout THEM apples?

(Don't tread on THEM)

A referendum is called for which would mandate legislators to don knee pads as they grovel for additional federal dollars to protect us from ourselves.
