Tailing the Komets

More stuff

Komets General Manager David Franke said discussions with Pascal Morency are going well. The team is close to signing defenseman A.J. Bozoian and a rookie goaltender, possibly to be announced Thursday, and Matt Elich has turned down the Komets' final offer and will likely play in Italy.

As for the rumors with Chaulk, he is prohibited under UHL rules of coming back any time this season because he has started the season in Europe. So, let's please move on to different rumors.

Is there anyway to block KW's IP address?

It looks like it will be a new UHL Missouri team in '07.

As I said in another blog, a two line sentence does not reality make. I doubt that another team will go into Missiouri.

Tough to see Elich not play here but oh well.

Not surprised that the Komets will sign a rookie goalie either. I knew that would happen the mineut St. Pierre was resigned. Hope this guy doesn't mind riding the pine for about 60 games.

Good for Bozo signing as well.

Could we drop so many of the OHIC stuff? It gets really boring skimming thru that stuff. Can we just talk about the K's and not the stuff made up to amuse some people?

Former Komet Richard Keyes landed in Flint...they also signed former NHL goaltender Jason Muzzatti..

Wasn't Muzzatti the goaltender for team Italy in the Olympics last year.

Greg

Yes he was. Played his few season to get into the Olympics now decided to come back home. Flint maybe be tough this year. Muzzatti had a couple of good games.

Mark, where did you see this? It's not on Flint's Website and the UHL site doesn't have it either that I can tell.

This just in from the OHIC ...
The Chicago Hounds have announced plans for an exploding scoreboard to go off whenever the Hounds score a goal, win a game, or have fewer than five icing calls against in a game (whichever comes first).

The exploding scoreboard will feature blazing guns, cannons and assorted firearms. The new operator will be John Dillinger.

Also, the team has announced a special on-ice intermission hostess. Her name has not been revealed as of yet, only that she will be wearing a red dress for each appearance.

Say what you want Greg, Stickland is very reputable in St. Louis. When he says it, it happens.

Jeff, the exploding scoreboard sounds cool...I guess that is one way to find out how good the PK unit is after each penalty for delay of game!!! LOL!!

I finally made it out of KW's mental institution. I have been held for ransom there for 1 week. Komet Warrior was holding me and in return for my freedom, he wanted Chief GQ back as the coach and Robin Big Snake on the first line. What an odd place it was too. Life-size cardbaord cutouts of Greg Puhulski everywhere. He even had a mask on, tights, a cape, and a pair of boots with the word "BITCHIN" on them. I couldn't see exactly what this guy looked like. He had an evil laugh. He went outside everyday to supposedly get some hockey news from a computer that was hooked up underneath a tree. I guess that is the Outside Hockey Information Center that he talks about so much. He had the names "ME, Jungle Monkey, AMELIA, Blakes, Mark, Ice King and Drop the Glove!!!!" written all over his walls. MAN...I am so glad to be out of there. Thanks to Rob Guinn for saving my life...he has forgotten more about being a hero, than any of you have ever read Super-man comic books.

Hit, I'm glad to hear that you were able to escape....I think you're the first to make it back safely!.......Hoss, thanks for the B-Day greeting, but I like my hockey news to be freshly picked from the garden, not stale leftovers! LOL!
