Evan Bayh has now come out against John Roberts' nomination to the Supreme Court. Well, not against, exactly. From a Bayh office press release:
Regrettably, therefore, I cannot vote to confirm, not because I oppose John Roberts, but because we simply do not know enought about his views on critical issues to make a considered judgment.
Got that? He's not opposed to Roberts, he's just voting against him. Is he trying to have it both ways, or what? Somebody must be running for president.

If there is one thing about Bayh that I do not like; it is the fact the he tends to avoid taking a stand on many issues.
This is a good example...
My favorite stance coming from a politician this year was when Senator Clinton said she supported a ban on flag burning, but not a constitional amendment banning flag burning.
She's implying that they don't need to amend the Constition when they can just violate it.
