Haven't they learned in Posey that the Nigerians have the only legitimate big-money deals on the Internet?
Indiana State Police recently launched a criminal investigation after receiving information that a Posey County man had lost over $250,000 through a sweepstakes scam.

Since the victim had won first prize, he was going to be awarded $5,500,000. The victim was also instructed he was responsible for all legal fees and state related taxes. He was informed that the tax money must be submitted and accounted for within seven days. The victim had sent Embassy International over $250,000 before realizing he had been scammed.
I don't know whiich is the most interesting part, the fact that there are still people gullible enough to fall for this stuff or the fact that someone in Posey managed to accumulate $250,000.
