Nuclear fun

Wonkette, one of the left's favorite feeble wits posing as deep thinkers, has fun with the disaster drill in Indianapolis, getting to make light of Indiana and the Bush administration in the same post:

The government's response was confused and disappointing, both because much of the Guard's equipment and many of their men are in Iraq and Afghanistan, and also because half of them accidentally went to Minneapolis. Two specialized Guard response teams ended up, inexplicably, in Cleveland.

As the Guard trained in Indianapolis, an actual homemade Hydrogen bomb was detonated in Gary, but no one noticed.

Of course, reading about it in the Washington Post is the closest she'll ever get to Indiana, bless us all.

A more likely scenario would be if Al Qaeda operatives, or homegrown terrorists raided the much too lightly guarded VX WMD Depot at Newport Indiana- just up wind of Indianapolia, and blew up a bunch of human "Bug- Killer" sky high, with the resulting chemical plume fumigating much of
our state capital; or stealing a bunch of truck loads, and scurrying like cockroaches, all around the midwest, and setting it off.

With the nukes we have today- (you tube search term "nuclear detonation" or "tsar bomba") all that will be lift for emergency workers to do is wash the cremains of the annihillated down the drain. They are kidding themselves about the realities of WMD's. A Greensburg Kansas type tornado is a more realistic scenario...I just hope we dont end up like Katrina victims, given the record, and reputation of City-County/ State/Federal cooperation...
so prepare your self, and your neighbors- hope may not be on the way, until too late...dooooom!! Gloooom!!!
