Kevin St. Pierre's charity softball game for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation raised approximately $1,000 Sunday at Tillman Park. Frenchy's All-Stars defeated the Fort Wayne Fire Department Team 21-20 in front of a few hundred fans.
``Thanks to everybody who came out and pitched in,'' St. Pierre said. ``I think everybody had a great time and we raised some money for a good cause.''
Guy Dupuis his two home runs and Kelly Miller made a couple of great catches to highlight the action on the field.

Its all right, I got big shoulders. I was able to carry the load....lol. They just couldnt get it into thier heads that I didnt want to bash anybody, I was just curious is all. Blake and I exchanged e-mails and we're cool; but some of the teachers pets were trying to kill me...lol
Been there several times...they hop on whenever they think they smell blood. It is really hillarious. I am surprised you didn't get a lecture from Scoops out of that. You're lucky man!!!!! I still say Kelly Miller is a must have on this team. He is the glue.
I like the way he plays and he is one of those x factors for the other team cause you cant really just dismiss him as a third line guy. I will never have a problem with a player that works his tail off like Miller does...
This may sound really stupid...but I think another guy that would be awesome on this team is Danny Stewart. I know he is in England. But can you imagine him on a team that is allowed to play with grit and physical play. Yikes. He would kill people out there. What about a Massie type player? Massie was fun to watch pound people into the boards. I hope we have guys this season that aren't afraid to throw their bodies around out there.
Boy, you know if the K's do sign Ruid and he's healthy and can put up the numbers he's capable of, I really like this team... I like it as is; but Ruid would add alot...
I agree, and it looks like the K's have signed a few guys who will hit anything that moves... And ya never know what we may have in rookies...so I'm really looking forward to training camp starting...I may even play hooky one day to watch... Gosh I sound like a dweeb...lol

Hey guys... I have an idea. The weather is turning so the chances of getting a softball game off the ground might be tough before it gets too cold...but..... how about flag football? That can be done indoors.

I was just getting frustrated because nobody would believe that I did not want to start a big player bash.... I knew we had'nt seen these guys play yet and I was just curious to see what type of player the fans would be willing to cut loose if we HAD to carry only 7 vets. Its all hypothetical because we dont even have 8 vets signed.

I cant eat at long john silvers cause evrything comes out looking the exact same.... I think they just throw everything together in one big fryer and you get whatever they scoop out...lol

Our one player from Hershey will be some crap I bet. It will be some guy that is made to play no matter what and will take up a spot that one of our better players could have. They will probably rob us blind all year too.
