Our gun grade

Former Fort Wayne Mayor Paul Helmke, now president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, is deeply disappointed in his home state:

Helmke's organization recently awarded Indiana just six out of a possible 100 points on its annual state scorecard ratings, which judges each state's gun laws by awarding points for specific categories.

Indiana received two points for requiring a state license to own a gun, two points for employers not being forced to allow firearms on their property and two points for colleges not being forced to allow firearms on their campus. Every other column

It's impossible not to feel terrible for Sarah Brady, of course, but why did she have to become such a busybody?
The Brady Bunch is welcome to their opinions, but it annoys me when they twist the facts.
For example, when they list the statistics for "children killed by guns" they include 18- and 19-years-olds, and they include people who commit suicide - about half the total, by the way.
Fix that statistic, and more actual children drown in swimming pools every year.

Texas? Hell, Texas has probably re-written it's school books to say that after Jesus founded America, he commanded all children to pack heat.
