But JR, you are looking at this wrong. The players need to feel comfortable. They need a break. They are just frustrated. They are squezzing their sticks too hard. I hope their eyes don't pop out of their heads from all the stick squezzing going on.

How dare you JR. You can't say that it is a system problem. You need to just allow them to feel comfortable.

I figured a dead silent crowd that wasn't saying much of anything all night long was enough to allow them to be comfortable.

This is a fan problem, and I have read in 2 or 3 places this is Larry the PA guys fault too. People are saying that it is because of his advertisements and the lack of good hard music. They are saying he only plays silly music.

What is next? Is this Schebig's fault? Did he push too hard on his pencil?

Did Blake type too hard on his laptop?

Did Burgee not drink enough Foo Foos?

Did the redheaded hockey fandom not bake enough 2 nutted fruitcakes?

Did the Schrock family not wear enough Schrock jerseys and shirts?

Did Hoss not eat enough chicken wings?

Don't question the style JR. Don't question the game plans. These guys are playing a passive style of hockey. It is what is most comfortable to them.

Comfort....Comfort.....Comfort.

Larry.....how about...." Here they are, the Fort Wayne Komforts!!!!!"

I think it's my turn to ask:

"Where are your season tix, so I can buy them".

Good league + ex-IHL talent = Start of the year shellacking. I'm hoping that the MC clears out so I can start sitting closer and getting to the bar earlier. (At least until Christmas, when they start playing).

I'm okay w/ the team, I think it's going to be fun watching what they do when they have to compete night after night. Call Chaulk, Shaf (they already did), Bertram, Aquino, and Woods back in to get this Turner Cup ship turned around!! I'd also leave Leg's and Relicheck (sp) on the same line all season, maybe squeeze in Mac when he pops of his suspension...I'd rather see them get beat up then watch them not score.

Remember though folks, it's not about hockey, it's about fun. Are you having fun??

Nice blog Hit. As a fan I will take all the blame for the Komets woes. I will get Schrock put on the back of my new jersey not go to anymore games and spend the night at a Komfort Inn. That will hopefully take the wammy out of the Komets problems. I could also take a Icy the Eagle doll and stick pins in it like some voodoo doctor. I agree with Hit. Whats happening on the ice is all because the universe is gone squirelly. And maybe we should all go on a diet of FooFoo's, fruitcakes and wings. Wouldn't hurt. I like wings.

DAL, I guess until you can speak first hand about Warner and his past you probably should hold your thoughts. My son played with Warner for 10-11 years so I can speak with facts that he was a hard worker, and usually the last one to leave the ice after practice. His parents didn't have the most money on the travel teams (as has been implied) he was just the most talented player we had. He has just been very fortuante to play for winners throughout his career. I guess if you want to know really what kind of a player he is/was give his Junior coach, Kevin Constantine a call. Yep, that is the old Penguins coach. Obviously Sims sees something in him or he wouldn't have started him on Saturday.

Love all these Warner fans... I in fact have 1st hand information on Warner's youth stint. Regardless, some times there are certain people that just don't get to make the call when they want too. I figured eventually the semi-supportive "Warner's Corner" fans would show up to defend his lack-luster play and constantly bad play. As for the comments about him playing some where else and getting more ice time, yes I am sure he could have at some Div. II school. I dunno, play a portion of a season and claim to be a champion or play all season and find a job after school is out. Tough choice. Either way every one can defend whomever they want but watching him for the past couple seasons has been painful land I am by far not the only person that wants to see Warner cut. Leaving Friday nights game all the buzz while walking out to my vehicle was listening to people demanding he be cut. Obviously though he is on the team for a reason, I don't know why and probably never will know why but I still have a right to request his removal with the utmost haste.

And that is why you are in the stands watching and not behind the bench making the tough decisions.. So keep on demanding he be cut because obviously he is doing something right for him to still be on the team
