The party's over

Democrats never did much believe in individual liberty. Now that the Republican mainstream is just as much enchanted with the power of government, there isn't much to choose from:

Under Republican leadership, the federal government has expanded

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard/read "we need a strong third party that believes in liberty". I hear it endlessly, and yet there go the votes to the Ds & Rs. There goes the financial support to the Ds & Rs. Having a strong third party requires those people who state the belief to actually cast the votes and dollars towards the pro-liberty candidates, something there has been great reluctance to do.

It's not enough to speak this line. One must ACT in accordance with principle. In this state, only 3-4% of voters seem to do so. It isn't enough to withhold participation from the Ds & Rs. It only means a smaller percentage of voters erode our liberty. ACT.
