It's nice to know the youth of today are still enterprising and creative enough to live by the "necessity is the mother of invention" principle:
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department arrested two men Tuesday for allegedly using counterfeit money.
"They were low on money so they decided to print money," Detective Chad Hill of the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said
Police say the pair planned to use the homemade $20 bills to buy pot.
Even if the two made lousy money, it only had to pass inspection by a stoner pot dealer. But it's not that hard to counterfeit with a computer, scanner and color printer these days, especially when you can find tips on the Web on everything from beating the sneaky security embeds and getting the right kind of paper. And the "by the way, it's really, really illegal" stuff ("you can get 15 years in the slammer, and you will get caught") often seems thrown in as an afterthought.

Interesting parallel...
THEY were "low on money" so they decided to PRINT SOME...sounds JUST like our FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
SPEND your way OUT of negative cash flow (instead of doing something we called SAVING and CUTTING BACK)...yessiree!
Maybe those kids today ARE LEARNING something after all...
Hell of an "educational" system, hmm?
Oh, those wacky ART majors...(yeah, right)
