2008, candidate Barack Obama on health care reform:

"We'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so the people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents and who is making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies."

2010, the reality:

I can't help but wonder if maybe sometimes, just once in a while, the MSM has any kind of remorse or feeling of guilt over giving this guy and his administration the biggest "pass" in history.

To put it in his terms, "let me be clear", it's "unprecedented".
