Tailing the Komets

Roster updates

Nick Boucher, Brad MacMillan and Konstantin Shafranov will be in the lineup Friday night, according to General Manager David Franke. Rick Varone and Brandon Warner they aren't so sure right now. Varone may be moved to 30-day IR. Danko Mironovic is also likely to be ready to play. The Komets won't announce any definitive roster moves until Friday. X-rays on Warner's angle were negative.

They are expecting Tim Haun to miss the games this weekend on suspension, but the league has not`announced anything yet. Parris Duffus will likely be the emergency back-up again. Because the Komets were playng short-handed on Sunday, they had a spot to activate Duffus. They released him today since emergency back-up goaltenders are on 72-hour contracts.

You are all right--Yes we would imbrace Larrrry if he ever became a Komet.
Why because we are a classy organization from top to bottom. Fans only memory
is the last game and the "Cups" KOmet fans are simply the best. I just wouldn't trade Boucher for him.

Every year there is one Komet that I don't like.

Larry will be that guy if he ever were to wear Orange.

Slashing is the penalty called. The intent to injure is when you swing your stick and even come close to the other guy. Sonner or later someone doing that is going to really hurt someine and in my opinion that should be criminal, regardless of who does it. I just do not want that to happen to any player at any level.

It's a tie, DeAngelis and Warner.

Bertram is my annual pick for complaining, but I've learned to accept it does no good.

Now Kevin Hansen might be the all-time champ.

Andy Townsend comes to mind..

Odd that is always defensemen. I always find one defenseman to like.. Phillips by far is that guy this year.

I would bet that if Larry Sterling donned a Komet jersey the crowd would be behind him. If he would become a Komet (I don't see it happening), but if it does happen then I would be a Sterling supporter. I admit it.

Hmm, two years ago I practically got ran off another blog for suggesting Fort Wayne would embrace Larry if he came here. A head case? Probably but the greatest head case I remember was Pokey and we loved him.

If Sterling ever became a Komet, after throwing up in my mouth a little bit, then crying, I think I'd have to have one box of Komet cards, and one of Vomit cards. Guess which box Larry's would go into? Oh, and I'd be sure to talk to PC about working on his slapshot during practice. I think he could get it up to 125 mph when Sterling is in net, don't you guys? About 10 in a row would be good.....chances have to be good that something snaps then.

Ditto for Billy Collins. I'd have to think of a way to get him on injured reserve for a long stretch. That leprechaun can't ever wear the orange and black.
