Sale going out of business

Tough economic times bring out some people's creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. And we can't have that, especially if it results in something "unsightly" that might offend delicate sensibilities. So city officials have no choice but to crack down:

Unsightly congestion at a WalMart parking lot? Ohmygod! Shouldn't we get the federal government involved? What if one of those hazardous baloons gets loose and somebody's chihuahua chases it between the knees of that fat guy who just came out of the post office and is now bending over to recover his 1040 booklet . . . Horrors!

Interesting things about "used car" sales...

When I worked for Circuit City, the "bosses" decided it would be a great idea to sell USED cars (fleet vehicles) down in the Richmond, VA HQ area.

Well, they had to get into the FINANCING logistics of THAT (on top of rying to beat out any and all competition in every major city across the nation), and you can plainly SEE what the result of that was...

If you're not a used car salesman...you shouldn't get into the business (on a whim), especially on someone else's property.

Just trade the damn thing in, or take out an ad.

I doubt that Walmart will be in favor of their parking lots utilized for used car sales. Seen signs to that effect in some Walmart lots already. Perhaps it is Walmart that is behind the push for this crack down. Just using the city council as a front.
