The global-warming alarmists have always confused weather with climate, and now they want to accumulate anecdotal evidence to help perpetuate their ignorance:

We want to hear and see your stories. Have you noticed changes in your own backyard or hometown? The differences can be large or small — altered blooming schedules, unusual animals that have arrived in your community, higher water levels encroaching on your property.

I'm not sure I would call myself an alarmist, but there are things going on that might mean something if you take them all together. Reports lately of polar bears in trouble because of melting polar caps and receding ice levels coupled with reports of slowly increasing ocean levels around the world seem to beg a connection. And this does seem to threaten or damage the THC heat transfer into the north Atlantic. Call it what you want or don't call it what you don't like - there is something going on, ...

OK...so let me check *my* list....

1) altered blooming schedules.....nope.
the pot plants in the neighbor's back yard are right on time (as the increased traffic at his house will attest to).

2) unusual animals arriving in my community...
Well, I have seen more RENTALS opening up...(there could be a connection THERE).

3) higher water LEVELS...nope.
(just higher water BILLS)

Sorry gang....climactic apocalypses aren't coming to a street near me (this week anyway).
But I will be watching for the polar bears this winter!
