Sick of school

Not so fast:

FLOYDS KNOBS, Ind. - An outbreak of E. coli has sickened at least 10 people, including seven schoolchildren, and officials have ruled out school cafeteria food as a source.

I remember school cafeteria food. Maybe it wasn't responsible for the E. coli outbreak, but surely it could have so depressed the kids that it suppressed their immune systems and made them more susceptible to illness. Some of you may not like sloppy joes, but I treasure them because of the high school cafeteria. We had two lines -- a full-meal line and an a la carte line. Whenever I didn't like what was on the full line -- about three times a week --  I went to the other one and got a sloppy joe and mashed potatoes. Yum.

Floyds Knobs. Heck of a name for a town.

At least it wasn't POWDERED EGGS and something that approximated an animal that had once been living...LOL!
