Northeast Indiana's U.S. Rep. Mike Pence has become a star of the small-government-conservative movement. Now he's among those championing private property rights. I don't think we could do much better than having him as House Majority Leader.
Indiana's delegation mostly votes the right way on property rights, except for Democratic Rep. Peter Visclosky:
The bill, passed 376-38, would withhold federal money from state and local governments that use powers of eminent domain to force businesses and homeowners to give up their property for commercial uses.
