That takes the price up 80.00 more for the season ticket holders that park in the $6.00 lot. (40 games) Then throw in playoffs. I'm glad I park in the now $4.00. It only goes up 40.00. LOL

I realize this is baseball, but if you think the Coliseum parking is bad, try parking at Comiskey Park. Last year, it was $17 to park in the lot next to the stadium. I haven't gone this year, but with the White Sox winning the series, you can bet that went up again.

Let's face it, while the lot is patrolled, Comiskey isn't exactly in the best of neighborhoods.

I can remember going to Market Square about 10 years ago and paying something like eight bucks to park in the parking garage under the arena.

I don't like the increase any more than anyone else, but it could be worse.

By the way, gas prices in DeKalb County finally went back under $2.80 ($2.79) today. Time to fill up...

We had a place here in lima that was $2.48.

When my wife and I got to Blue Jacket Games in Columbus, we park in a lot right next to the arena and pay $15.00, so $4.00 really isn't so bad.

But you're talking about an NHL game that you pay dearly for a good seat. I especially like their club seats there. Their food is horribly priced too. $9.00 for a burger and fries are seperate. LOL

youre all cheap! $4 parking is a deal! and none of the spots are that far away. randy brown doesnt set the parking fee, there is a board that does all that. why crap on brown when our memorial colieum is a beautiful place that ranks in the top of all arenas of cities our size? we should all be more worried about the lolipop guild the team is becomming with more promises of tough guys...u have to be 5 10 and 190 lbs to make this team!!

Wow I guess I should be nicer in my past comments about Peter Ing. After all, he was actually traded for GRANT FUHR as I was reminded on the radio today. He was part of a 6 player trade that brought both Fuhr and Glen Anderson to the Leafs.

Ing was the number one draft pick for the Leafs Tony, please don't forget that. Yes, I'm biased, I have his Komet Jersey, but still. Teams are allowed to make a mistake here and there. How do you think the Blues felt when they traded draft all that youth just to get Gretzky for like 16 games.

Yeah and in his defence he didn't have much of a team to play in front of him. Compared to the other guys the Leafs had, Allan Bester, Jeff Reese and Mark Laforest, Ing looked like Ken Dryden. Folks in Toronto really wanted him to succeed. He was a hometown kid who certainly didn't look like a goalie. He was maybe 6'3 and very thin. He also played his junior in Windsor so I pulled for him. As for his time in Fort Wayne, I don't remember if he was the "problem" or if it was the team in front of him.

A little of both I think, But I was partial to golatenders back then and something about Ing just struck me as a guy I like.

Head up to Niagara Falls and you will find him in the casinos. I heard an interview with him a year or so ago and he was some kind of a director for Casino Niagara.
