Komets General Manager David Franke had this to say about potential trades: ``Nothing biting yet. There's not really a lot out there, but we are really not offering a lot in return. Right now I don't see the perfect deal out there.''
As for filling any potential holes, as with Lance Galbraith: ``If Galbraith is out we'll just go with what we've got and do the best we can. If our veteran players play up to their abilities and we get good goaltending, we'll be fine.''

What nobody has said yet is how the Komets can let MR.Enema Man shove his head up ICYS butt and we can't have our "you suck song?"

I like the toilet humor though, don't you? Just like Icy's nutcracker suite. Remember that classic event when he fell on the boards and the on ice announcer said, "and ICY just cracked his nuts."
Enema Man is the best thing that has happened this year. Finally something entertaining. The scoops guys are good, too, of course. But where else can you go and see an anal probe the size of King Kong skating around the ice. I should have brought my camera. I did get lucky enough to get one of the beany babies though. Can we put Enema Man on our Front line? He wouldn't take crap from anybody, or would he?
Would it be really bad if I said he'd wipe up the ice with some of those guys?
Of course he probably wouldn't give a.... um... darn anyway.

Saying the K's don't hit or score or drop mits is not really a fair assessment. I think we are being a little over judgemental after a bad luck weekend.
The Komets in fact do rank right up there in goals scored. Nothing to be ashamed of, thats for sure with all things considered. The hitting has been there lately but the overall picture it paints is still inconsistant at times.
Fighting is definately down over years past which is somewhat a disappointment. To me its because of who we play more than something of our own doing. This second half has really brought on the boring teams to see. The last few weeks of the season get a little better so we'll see what shakes loose then.

And we all thought that Galbraith was a pain in the butt to the other teams. Enema Man is definitely the biggest pain in the butt you'll ever meet. You could yell: "Enema Man, you stink" and you would be right. Enema Man, you play like crap. He would respond, I play for crap.
Someone ring up Sproat, he's missing a big opportunity here. Enema Man is worth is weight in .....well....crap....I guess.

Scoops, don't over think this. I was just venting. I do think it stinks that we have to give up everything that has made us the "KOMETS" though, don't you. They don't drop the mits much at all, not that it is everything. Does anyone on the roster excite you that much. This group of average Joes. Without Galbraith, what is there? Chaulk, Frenchy, and a couple of good players, I guess. I understand you sort of have to walk that line and not be too critical of the team, being a Scoops guy and all. I respect that. But don't sell out what kind of hockey you enjoy watching. Fast paced, hitting, scoring, Coleseum buzzing hockey, you know...the Jungle. I miss that. Frankes say every year that they are looking to bring in more toughness, and do they? They do a good job of running the team overall, I just wish we could go to the games and see exciting hockey again, with the crowd into it. We've seen what, 3 or 4 exciting ones this year that I can remember. Most of the good games have been on the road. Players preach how everyone has to take the body, and for one game they do it and go multiple games without doing it again. Maybe it's just a bad year and I need to accept it as that. It just boils me to watch the other top teams make deal after deal that improves them and we stand by doing nothing. We are satisfied to bring in third liners from Flint, Missouri and Port Huron all season long. And now we will wait to find a so-called diamond in the rough with a college player. I just can't stand it. Call me what you want. As much as people may wish, I won't stop shooting my opinion. At least it gets people going some times.
Maybe Enema Man can hook-up with you guys, that means you'd have to change your names to the Poops guys. Just kidding.
I'll be saving this quote from Mr. Franke... the "We'll be fine." I support the guys that we have because they are Komets, but I do not support the way management has approached this season. In my opinion they are not giving the fans alot of value for the money we spend to support this team. I am tired of EXCUSES. Its time to step up and give the fans what they deserve.
Have we heard anything about Lance yet? I'm dying to know how he's doing.

Being a Scoop has nothing to do with how I say things. To be honest, I never thought of it until now.
Maybe if you would look at the team for what it is sometimes, it might see she isn't a total dog and you won't be as disappointed. Stop wishing you were with Angelina Jolie just because you think your married to RoseAnn Barr.
