I ask you, ladies, is this nerdy looking guy the type you get all hot over? Maybe Kissinger was right, and power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, because he surely does seem to do OK in the romance department. The guy is Peter Orszag, the White House budget director no on had ever heard of until this week. The woman is ABC News hottie reporter Bianna Golodryga, whom he his now engaged to. The reason all this is news is that he just admitted that he and the former girlfriend he broke up with just a few months ago, Greek shipping heiress Claire Milonas, have become the parents of a baby girl, Tatiana.
Keeping all that straight? For the record, this is Milonas. Personally, I think she's at least as hot as Golodryga and rich to boot, so I'm not sure I completely agree with old Peter's life choice here. He is also the divorced father of two kids -- haven't seen any photos of her, but she's probably not bad, either.
As scary as the world gets, there's always time for some good tabloid stuff (or maybe the scarier it gets, the more we need the tabloid stuff), and nobody does it better than The New York Post, which broke the story. Obama's "geeky" budget guru "jilts baby mama" (from the headline) and admits having "a secret love child" before "hooking up" with his current girlfriend. The jilted heiress' family and close friends were "stunned" by Orszag's "boorish behavior," and her 82-year-old father "hit the roof" and "had to be calmed down."
What a great trashy read for a cold, snow Thursday morning. Oh, and here's the best part, Orszag talking about his former girlfriend and new baby: "Although we are no longer together, we are both thrilled she is happy and healthy, and we would hope that everyone will respect her privacy." Right. We'll
