My understanding is that they were named Michigan Warriors and not Flint Warriors for this very reason. There is no agreement in place with the NAHL and Flint currently because Perani was giving the Generals first shot, and neither want to share the arena....so what I have seen is that Port Huron would be choice #2 for the Warriors. And that seems to be the better fit right now.

NO, actually I heard the info from a SuperFan and a Cohn-head. No one else seems to know anything about that and all seem to think it is bogas.
I keep asking Cohn, and he keeps skipping my question....I wonder if he knows and can't say.
Blake can email me and tell me, but I guess I will wait like the next guy and see what happens at the end of the week or the next 7 to 10 days.
I would love to know who the rumored 2 ECHL teams are and were that might actually had been thinking or maybe still thinking about jumping ECHL ship to join the Super League.
I think the Super League needs a Super Fan to run it.

Saw a WANE story online tonight that quotes Michael Franke as saying the CHL/IHL will have 17 to 19 teams next season. Eh, we'll see.
Thanks Burgee, Bob, FMM. Regarding STH seats, that's what I thought. I had just seen several people calling it "renewing" recently, and that got me wondering if they held them for longer than that. But I can see how seats might still be open just because no one had purchased them.
Haven't made cookies since mid-April, thank goodness. I only make them when someone else wants to eat most of them.

This probably won't be popular to all the Blackhawk and Flyer fans so forgive me. I was rooting real hard for the Flyers last night. My reason? I want to see more hockey and with their win I am guaranteed of two more games. I will root for the Flyers in game four also just for the same reason. I just want anything that extends the season a little longer. The series has been great, so far. Very entertaining.
I was hoping that Versus would carry the pre-game as I told some friends about Kate Smith and why she would sing "God Bless America" at the Philly games. I was tickled that they had her on the big screen singing. Some of our "younger" friends" on here probably don't even know who Kate Smith was. A great tradition and I'm proud of the Flyers for including it.
I think if you are a STH and you call the Komet office, tell them you want to renew but may have to wait a couple of weeks longer for the money, they will work with you. I think we can understand why they don't advertise that fact as they don't want everyone to do it. I'm very impressed with the staff in the K's office. Both ladies behind the counter know my name when I walk in the door and the first time they said "Hi Alan" it about knocked me off my feet. I couldn't believe they knew me from the 3000 or so other ticket holders. They have always answered any question I might have had promptly and courteously. They have even summoned David Franke for me when I had some questions a couple of years ago. These things are the kinds of service that I don't forget.
