Randy Balko over at Reason.com has the story of the Northwestern journalism students who worked to reopen the conviction of a Harvey, IL man accused of killing a security guard.
The Cook County prosecutor reacted by subpoenaing the grades and emails of the journalism students. Honest . . . she did!
Shouldn't we therefore ask IU administrators to monitor the grades and tweets of their student population in order to control all facets of campus life? :)
