Weather report

The Gore Effect has apparently spread to the general population:

More than two dozen demonstrators braved cold, wet weather Saturday in Reno to attend a rally designed to draw attention to global warming.

The event was cut short by heavy rain and sleet, said organizer Lisa Stiller of the Northern Nevada Coalition for Climate Change.

since you're talking about reno; check out this post about some downtown development that has been "oversold" shall we say.
kind of like the Midtown crossing debacle here.
I thought that was supposed to revitalize downtown, years ago? Mayor Moses? Mayor Helmke? what happened to all the money?
downtown is still DOA. Lets just make it all a greenspace. I'm moving just across the county line to Dekalb, Whitley, and Wells. Lots of cheap land for my suburban retreat/castle; and property taxes are lots less.
