Worried yet?

What? What?! I wasn't even thinking about this:

WASHINGTON (AP) — None of the contaminated wheat gluten that led to the U.S. recall of pet food went to manufacturers of food for humans, the ingredient's importer said Tuesday.

The Chinese wheat gluten imported by ChemNutra Inc. all went to companies that make pet foods, Stephen Miller, chief executive officer of the Las Vegas company, told the Associated Press.

I'm reminded for some reason of the scene from "As Good as it Gets" in which Jack Nicholson is in the restaurant, with the pooch he is dog-sitting tied up outside. "Aren't you worried about your dog?" the waitress asks. He replies; "Well, I am now."

It has long been my conviction that a great deal of people's trouble happens in the yawning gap between how worried people are and how worried they should be.
