Yes, they are evil

I think I'll start handing out the Kurt Vonnegut Award (the Kurt) to the people who are the least serious about the war against Islamofascism. Today's winner, media division, goes to Chris Matthews, who thinks, among other things,

If we stop trying to figure out the other side, we've given up. The person on the other side is not evil. They just have a different perspective. The smartest people understand the enemy's point of view, because they understand what's driving them.

I understand that our enemies want to kill us. I think it would be a pretty good idea if we killed them first.

Leo,

Assuming I agree that we should kill those that want to kill us (and that just opens so many issues- do you want a war with North Korea?), I do have an issue with your comment:

IRAQ DID NOT TRY TO KILL US. There is no proven link between 9/11 and Iraq-PERIOD.

Granted, Saddam had to go- he was a very bad man- but is he any worse than the nut running North Korea? There are also another half dozen or so tyrants running around- are we going to declare war on all of them?

And, most frustrating to me, there are countries that are supporting terrorists- but for some reason, we are not going after them!
