Rick's in

Hooray:

A new Marion County recount shows that Rick Santorum did submit enough petition signatures to qualify for Indiania's May 8th Republican presidential primary. The Indianapolis Star reports.

That's not an endorsement of Santorum, but, rather, satisfaction that all four remaining candidates will be on the GOP ballot. For only the second time in modern history, a presidential contest won't be all but decided by the time of our May primary. And the contest is likely to be close enough still that winning our state's delegates will actually mean something.

My guess is that Santorum will beat out the other three here. He's the one who's the strongest social conservative, and that's attractive to Republicans here, yes?

That's great news! Mrs. littlejohn and I have applied for our GOP absentee ballots and were hoping we'd have a chance to vote for the least-electable Republican. Furthermore, we aren't doing anything illegal - we actually do support Dick Luger and intend to vote for him. I can't wait for November so we can hear Tim explain why his "ham sandwich" lost in a landslide to that socialist Kenyan.

Littlejohn, we can tell what a loyal supporter you are of the current Senator, by the way his name is Lugar not Luger. It also will come as no surprise to most of us that you and your wife (the TEACHER shaping the minds of our youth) would game the system either. Does she also teach her students how to cheat on tests? Fine example of moral fiber you and the Mrs. put forth, no wonder you don't use your real name.

Hey Tim - Didn't you hear that 'Small place to take a pee" is using his pseudonym to "protect his wife, the schoolteacher" who, per his previous posts, is their breadwinner?   I don't believe that I will EVER refer to his wife as "Mrs. Small place......" though.

Of course he wouldn't use your lame attempt at name-calling for anyone, Kalb. He's not taking advantage of the "bitter-senile-old-man slack" that Morris apparently gives out on the comment policy like you are.

Speaking of moral fiber, Tim Zank:

Santorum Robocall Asks Michigan Dems To Vote For Him (AUDIO)

LANSING, MI — Rick Santorum’s campaign is locked in a tight battle with Mitt Romney ahead of Tuesday’s Michigan primary. On Monday his camp started openly courting a demographic that’s not often reached out to in GOP primaries: Democrats.

Michigan’s primary rules allow Dems to vote in the state’s GOP primaries. The liberal site DailyKos and other progressive partners have been trying to drum up enthusiasm for “Operation Hilarity” - an effort to get Democrats to vote in the GOP primary and tilt the vote against Mitt Romney. The Santorum campaign evidently decided they’d take votes from any legitimate source.

Santorum is apparently A-OK with this sort of thing! XD
