I'm not 100 percent sure yet, but I'm guessing the ECHL asked the Komets to change their goal song. This is very corporate hockey, and anything derogatory toward the other team or officials is subject to a fine in the ECHL. If that was the case, you can be sure the Komets won't be going back to any of the standard songs.
So what would you suggest and why?

Over played or not .. Many people if you ask them to name a hockey goal song they ll say Rock N Roll part 2 and it always got the fans excited and into the game and I grew up listening to it back in the day every game in the Jungle!! That song would get my vote over the current one in a heartbeat.
Rock and Roll P2 is the song because of the tradition here. I know the "Hey, you suck" thing is immature, but if being corporate is the main concern over why not to use it, the Nashville Preditors use it the exact same way and they get the chants too. It's just one of those things you have to live with when you get into the hockey business, that about 40% of the fans are just there for the fights and the insults. But, I'd love to hear Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis like at the Blackhawks games, just to see what kind of reaction it gets from the Red Wings fans.
