Saturday in Florida

Let's start the conversation here.

Interesting to see if the Komets continue getting stronger throughout this series.

Man, if the Komets' power play is ineffective, what would you say about the Everblades with the man advantage? They aren't event getting shots off.

Florida looks lost. This might be the Ks most complete performance of the season.

I don't think there are any future consisderations that are available that could make our line up right now. Why make a change just to make a change.  Say what you want but the Komets are peaking at the right time much to the chagrin of some of the Graham and Franke critics. Most diffinately not over their heads as some of you have preaching all season and diffinately not the only coach and GM that has made a few player mistakes this season. Bringing in Quillette ,Quillette and Carter has changed this team into a dark horse contender. Lets cross our fingers that Marino doesn't get a call up !

...and that's exactly why I phrased it the way I did.  I was hoping to see and read what suggestions (if any) other fans may have.  I know I have posted many times what I think they need.  I was trying to stimulate some discussion because I'm quite sure some on here probably think they should just stay with what they have.  I'd love to read the reasons for both.

The game tonight sounded as though they completely dominated except for the last period.  Was it because Graham changed up some strategy, lineup, or defensive situations?  Sounded as Meisner stood "tall".  Two goals by Miller this weekend.  Carter is a find just as D. Ouellet is.

Komets are getting close.

They do seem to be peaking at the right time. Great game by the guys!! Sorry to bring up any negative but since it was brought up I can't help it. By no means have I been critical of Graham solely because a few player mistakes. That happens to many teams. However this team lost in such embarrassing fashion way too many times. The amount of leads they gave up was ridiculous. The amount of players who had friction with Graham, intense friction is not a sign of good coaching. The amount of times the guys showed zero emotion even as their goalie got ran in 3 different games. Graham is These problems continued until a couple players came in and took on a leadership role that the team was craving. Then suddenly there was motivation, heart, physicality, a better team all around. I realize others will not agree with my opinion and I get that. Tonight was a great game. Alot of positive going on and it makes all Komet fans happy. I don't get a thrill when we lose, proving my opinion on Graham is right doesn't excited me. Fans always disagree on coaching. Fans disagreed on Sims even days after winning his 5th championship...it will happen with every coach the Komets hire.

Thanks JR, Ron Heathman, and AJ.  That was the kind of stuff I was hoping to draw with my original question.  Pretty much three different ways to think about it.  Nobody right, nobody wrong.

For those who are wanting a change, the European option has past by.  Although the "futures" still exist theoretically, I am finding myself thinking that, in the end, they will "settle" for cash or the rights to a player before the June deadline.

I would love to be a "mouse" in their next meeting and sneak a peak at what their real goal is:  A championship or just making the playoffs.

The organization needs to be recognized.  This was a very big weekend.  Lose three and the team would probably have been done.  Winning two was huge.

Coming home now for a Wendesday challenge against Kalamazoo.  Another huge game for them.  Hope they come out "rested" yet fired up.

Looking forward to watch Dale play.

losing to K-Zoo wednesday at home will sting but not be a killer......

beating them will put a little more jump in their step, so to say

They need to dominate the Wings this time

also the schedule gives them a bit of a break here with no back-to-back games until March 8th weekend, and then it will be 15 games in the last 28 days........ (weather permitting!)
