Opps. Hillary Clinton's cmpaign announcement was missing something:
The campaign's official announcement to reporters, perhaps finished in haste, included an embarrassing mistake in the omission of a key word.
Hillary, it said, has 'fought children and families all her career.'
Actually, I think it reads just right without the "for." The kinds of policies she has championed are the ones that have devasated families.
And there is this:
Also missing: Her campaign website includes a lengthy biography but no discussion of issues, no policy platforms and no staked-out ideological territory.
If Barack Obama was the blank slate on which voters could write whatever they chose, Hillary Clinton is the empty dress pants suit. Nothing to see there, folks, move on, move on.
