I'm not sure they could play much harder considering the circumstances. 13 skaters for half the game, and they still out-shot them 46-30. They were totally spent in the locker room, but they were still ticked off at giving up a point. I was in the locker room 2 1/2 hours before gametime and just about everybody had an ice pack, or a splint or was getting stim, and that's just the guys who played. There's about six guys on this team who should probably be sitting in the stands with their injuries. One of the leading scorers has a broken finger and can't even hold his stick correctly.
That was simply an amazing effort with seven rookies.
