I don't see how the Komets can win playing this style. They are trying to out-skate and out-gun the IceHawks, and I don't think that's going to work. They need to try to win this game 2-1 not 6-5. Wonder if they will figure it out before it's too late.
They are getting more traffic in front of Larry Sterling, but their power play isn't generating any chances and very few shots.
Nick Boucher has been pretty sharp so far, but there was nothing he could do on the IceHawks' power-play goal.
Here's what the Komets are playing for. When they are tied 2-2 in a series, they have gone 9-1 over their last 10 Game 5s, and seven of those were in Memorial Coliseum. This is the series.
