MacMillan recently played one game with Idaho in the ECHL, receiving nine penalty minutes. He's been trying to get this job for a while now. Fairbacks is where he went to college and where he met his wife Delaney.

This is a good chance to get set up for th rest of my life and have an exti plan for after hockey I feel comfortable. I was a little upset iwth the CHL. It wasn't my decision to not play there. I came back and played one game here. Now I'm finishing on my terms and I feel a lot better about that than before.
