This is news? Did anybody really think there was a chance he would have picked Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul:
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels today endorsed Mitt Romney for president, becoming the latest high-profile Republican to end his neutrality and urge unity behind his party's likely nominee.
Because he waited so long, his endorsement is essentially meaningless. If he'd spoken up back when Romney still has a worthy-to-be-taken-seriously opponent in Rick Santorum, his endorsement could have made a difference. Of course, that would have meant he had to choose between "conservative" and "not as conservative," which of course he has always been reluctant to do.
