Sled hockey is returning to Fort Wayne for the 5th Annual Bob Chase Frostbite and Silver Stick Sled Hockey Championship February 9-10, 2013.
* Adult teams will be competing in the Bob Chase Frostbite Championship which is part of the Mid-American Great Lakes Sled League. The top 2 teams at the end of the season will go on to participate in the Disabled Festival National Championship.
* Youth Teams will be participating in the 3rd Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Final. Silver Stick is a non-profit organization that promotes Citizenship and Goodwill through hockey. More than 65,000 players participant in Silver Stick events annually.
* Turnstone in partnership with Fort Wayne Youth Hockey are the hosts of this event.
* Opening Ceremonies will be held on Saturday, February 9 at 2:00 pm.
* All games and opening ceremony will be held at Lutheran Health Sports Complex
Total of 12 teams traveling from Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Johnstown and Pittsburgh
